Matthieu: Bonjour! Welcome to my first ever blog about my passion for all things related to food, especially cooking it and eating it! For the many years I lived in Vietnam, my mom would often wake up to find the kitchen, in her words "destroyed". My honest attempts at pound cakes or pancakes often resulted in blobs of unrecognizable goo or batter that could be used as wall plaster. Sometimes I would succeed in creating a delectable masterpiece but I don't have any photos to prove it so you'll have to believe me. Now I understand that a lot of work has gone into creating recipes for a reason and that I should actually follow those instructions and measurements quite closely. So, join me on my culinary adventures now that I am here in Canada (and not at sea level anymore!) and now that I know how to follow recipes. Bon appetit!
